THE SACRIFICIAL DAUGHTER.
That’s the adult child of elderly parents, usually a daughter, tasked with looking after Mom or Dad.
When caregiving gets to be too much and nerves are at the breaking point, they call Kay Dexter. She specializes in eldercare. She knows about being the sacrificial daughter—she is one. She left her practice in the big city for a small mountain town, to care for her own parents.
Right now Kay is in the middle of a battle. Two daughters are fighting over old wrongs, their mother’s care, and Mom’s valuable estate. Things are getting nasty. Then murder enters the fray.
If Kay’s not careful, she could wind up dead.
