Commercial model, Orla Mitchell, has come to a crossroads in life. A recent hair disaster means that she needs to take some time off work. When her widowed aunt, Marnie Simpson, invites her to dog sit on Sunflower Street, Orla is more than happy to accept.
Ex-marine and former bodyguard, Rowan Ellis, has moved to the village of Wisteria Hollow with his two dogs in the hope of finding a slower pace of life.
As Orla settles in and gets to know her aunt, she comes to the realisation that her priorities have changed. Meeting Rowan confirms this, and their mutual attraction grows along with their friendship.
