Empowering Innovation. Expanding Opportunity. Inspiring the Future.
Across the United States, Educational Service Agencies (ESAs) play a pivotal role in ensuring that every student, no matter where they live, has access to high-quality learning opportunities. The AESA STEM Century Book brings together voices from ESAs nationwide, highlighting how they are transforming education through innovative STEM programs that prepare today’s students for tomorrow’s workforce.
This book, is a collaboration between the Association of Educational Service Agencies (AESA) and 21sCenturyEd, showcases how regional leadership, creative partnerships, and a shared commitment to service are shaping the future of public education. Each chapter tells the story of how ESAs are expanding access to STEM learning, strengthening community partnerships, and building systems that connect education, workforce, and economic development.
Readers will find in these pages a blueprint for what is possible when educators collaborate across boundaries and when they “serve those who serve students.” The stories reveal both the power and the promise of the ESA network: a national system of innovation that is deeply local in its impact and global in its reach.
