Moving back to Lake Tahoe wasn’t on Deanna York’s bingo card. And well, neither was opening her own coffee shop, either.
Excited about her new venture following an unexpected divorce, Deanna’s looking forward to reuniting with old friends as well as making new ones. The only thing she’s not too thrilled about is running into her high school sweetheart, Gavin Winston. Although he'd made her heart flutter many years ago, the two of them had wanted different things in life, and Deanna hadn’t wasted any time high tailing it out of town as soon as she’d turned her tassel.
Deanna York may have been the one that got away, but Gavin Winston hasn’t gone a day since she left without thinking about her. Which probably explains why he’s still single all these years later. If he had to do it all over again, he wouldn’t have let her go so easily. Not without putting up a fight.
When Deanna finds out Gavin will be the one delivering fresh milk to her new coffee shop, Rise & Grind, she’s more than a little nervous about seeing him again. So nervous, she nearly spills a cup of hot coffee on him the morning they come face to face. Although they're both older now, there’s no denying the butterflies that have found their way back.
Gavin knows that getting a second chance with Deanna would make his life complete. Determined to reunite with her and give what they once had a second go, he'll stop at nothing to win her back. Even if it means jeopardizing his career.
With lots of witty banter and laugh-out-loud moments, Love at First Brew will have you begging for these two to get their happily-ever-after.
