While many prefer their relationships and daily routines to be rather predictable, others thrive in chaos and constant change. Such was the life of Robert Hornak. Chaotic.
He has almost no memories before he turned nine years old. Often disconnected from family and peers, he spent hours alone-in movie theaters watching Star Wars, teaching himself to write computer code, backpacking in the Appalachian Mountains, or studying and traveling across Europe. He had a few run-ins with the law, completed four years at The Citadel, and became a surgical device rep-a major advantage when he met his wife who'd been born with complex congenital heart defects. Their twin boys were born, and then a series of chaotic events over the next twenty years became his new normal, including the birth of his daughter, a host of wonderful surprises, and some devastating challenges he'd never anticipated.
Then, far into adulthood, he saw something he still can't quite explain. He witnessed a real-life miracle and ultimately surrendered himself to Jesus Christ. Reflecting back over his often-chaotic life, Robert saw the One who'd been in control and had been protecting, correcting, and guiding him every step of the way.
