Two classic martial arts texts in one new book
Combining two full classics of self defense techniques, you'll get a great value for your money and have expertly restored versions of these must-have reference works.
This new collection features two World War 1 era defensive books. HAND-TO-HAND FIGHTING (1918) illustrates the specific personal defense system as taught to U.S. soldiers at Camp Sevier in preparation to being deployed to the front in France. Techniques include moves of that era such as arm holds, strangles, kicks, fistic attacks and even the 'flying mare'. Well illustrated with clear photos. It also features a section of how to combine the moves into effective combinations.
The second book, How To Out Think Your Opponent, by Prof. Al. Williams, is an unusual compilation also by a Y.M.C.A. instructor of defensive techniques. It consists of his system of holds and locks which he calls the “T.N. Tactics” (or Thoroughly New Tactics). His methods of "Close-In" fighting are designed to possibly save your life if engaged in hand to hand combat with an enemy. There are over 70 pages of specific Arm and Rifle Interlocking maneuvers, including offensive moves and defensive ones should you become disarmed during bayonet combat.
Our "Two in One series" makes it easier to stock your library with the very best of classic and vintage martial arts titles at a lower cost. Why pay more ?
