Geoffrey's Journey Home: A Story About One Dog's Journey Home to Heaven and How I Learned to Live Without Him

I was truly inspired to write this book. This book was written entirely in the Adoration Chapel at St. Bede's Catholic Church in Chicago. My life-changing moment occurred when I was holding Geoffrey's head as he was starting his journey home. As he was dying before my eyes, I was inconsolable. At that instant I thought of Jesus in Mary's arms after he died, and for the first time I felt how real Mary's pain was. I know it sounds crazy, but I believe I was given a special gift that day.
