Nottingham in the 1980s and early 1990s had the worst crime rates outside of London. These stories are taken from my years working as a front-line cop as an Authorised Firearms Officer, a Traffic cop, on the Special Operations Unit, Vice Squad, City Centre Patrol, and the Miner’s Strike, to name a few.
