I don't know if this is true, but I would like to think that this book could be The Maltese Falcon of Intoxicated Wizard novels. When a shapeshifter is murdered and a mystical recipe book is stolen from a Mystixology bar in Vancouver, Thomas “Awkward” Dante finds himself caught between the supernatural side of the RCMP and a vengeful enchantress. The only thing both mysteries seem to have in common is his bar, the Lost & Found, which was built on the crossroads of the city.
